The team at LVH takes great pride in being able to complete diagnostic tests in-house to provide immediate care.

Digital Radiography​: Digital Radiographs can be taken quickly and are a very effective diagnostic tool. Radiographs are not only taken to check for broken bones, but many other conditions as well. 
​Such as pneumonia on the left & a bladder stone on the right.

​Digital Dental Radiography:  Oral x-rays​ show the health of the tooth, root and surrounding bone, enabling the doctor to determine if an extraction is necessary OR if other disease is occurring below the gum-line.

Note the retained tooth roots; they were not visible on physical exam.

In House Diagnostics: We run many of the blood tests your pet needs in our own lab. Not only does this save time and money, more importantly you will have answers the same day and treatment can begin sooner. Our in-house lab is equipped with a blood chemistry analyzer, a blood cell analyzer, urine analyzer and a thyroid test. We can also microscopically evaluate fecal samples and swab/cell samples from ears and tissue.
